Appointments and Emergencies

For questions about our practice or to schedule an appointment, please call, 865-632-5577. We see patients during our normal office hours, Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 am until 5:00 pm.

If you are a patient of record and need assistance after hours, please our office and ask for the physician on call.

Emergencies and Prescription Refills

If you need assistance during regular office hours, please call our office at 865-632-5577, and you will be given instructions based on the nature of your call. If you are a patient of record and need assistance after hours, please ask for the physician on call.

Insurance

Our office accepts most major insurance companies and Medicare. We are happy to file paperwork to your insurance company, but each patient is ultimately responsible for his or her account. Please be sure to bring your insurance card to each appointment.

Payments

All co-payments are due at the time of service, and we accept cash, check and credit cards. If you are a self-paying patient, we are happy to make payment arrangements. Please call our business office to discuss your options.

Things to Remember Prior to Your Appointment at Blount Orthopaedic Associates:

• If required by your insurance company, referral forms and authorizations must be received form your primary care physician prior to your appointment.
• Complete new patient forms prior to arriving for your appointment or arrive 15 minutes early to complete the information.       
• Established patients should notify our receptionist of any changes in insurance, address or contact information.
  
• Please bring your insurance card with you to each appointment.
• Always bring a list of current prescription and over-the-counter medications you are currently taking.
• Please provide 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule an appointment.
